Sicilian Dragon
AdvancedBlack's sharpest answer to 1.e4. The bishop goes to g7 — the famous "Dragon bishop" — aiming down the long diagonal at White's queenside. The kings usually castle on opposite sides, so it becomes a race: Black attacks the queenside while White storms the kingside.
Open the c-file and race to attack White's king (it usually castles queenside) before White's pawns reach yours.
Line up with ...Rc8, ...Qa5 and ...b5, and when the moment is right, give up a rook for the knight on c3 (...Rxc3) to tear open the pawns shielding White's king — then your g7-bishop and queen break through.
